Sparkly Almond Cake

Whole almonds + almond paste + amaretto! If you don't like almonds, this is NOT the cake for you. A rich almond cake with a crunchy (and sparkly) almond & sugar top. Not too sweet with a dense, springy consistency. A true tea time cake. Serves 8-10 Slices
